Apple Kids, Royapettah, formerly known as Little Orchids Playschool, was the first franchisee of the Apple Kids chain of preschools in Chennai. Promoted in 2004 by Padma Achar and Mallika Ravi with an initial enrollment of 15 students, the preschool has now grown to over 100 students.The campus is spread over an area of more than 3,000 square feet and has an outdoor and indoor play area with child friendly and eco-friendly play equipment. The preschool recruits faculty on the basis of their qualifications, communicative and linguistic skills, experience and their interest in children.
