National education policy 2020 (NEP 2020),says that over 85% of a child’s cumulative brain development occurs prior to the age of 6, indicating the critical importance of appropriate care and stimulation of the brain in the early years to ensure healthy brain development and growth. Our Curriculum is based on a blend of theories of education as propounded both by Indian and International theorists. The Curriculum inputs are taken from the theories of Maria Montessori, Friedrich Froebel, John Dewey,Tagore, Gandhi ,Gijubhai Badheka ,Tarabhai Modak, Rousseau,Urie Bronfenbrenner,Howard Gardner, Piaget, Vygotsky to name a few. The teaching methods incorporate the following approaches: Montessori method, Play way and Activity, Theme based, Inquiry based and Multiple Intelligence . These go a long way in instilling creative thinking, lifelong learning, scientific learning, self-realization, communication skills, social values and life skills. The emphasis is on laying a solid foundation by creating a stimulating environment which forms a base for holistic learning, making lifelong learners which is especially important for tomorrow’s world. It aims to develop healthy attitude, good values, skills of critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity, technology, literacy, and socio emotional development. The curriculum is aligned to the ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) guidelines as mentioned in the National Education Policy 2020(NEP 2020).
