In 1977 Thiru T.M.M.S.Shunmuga sundaram Avl & other like minded Hindu Nadars of in and around sevenwells area started a trust named SRI KAMARAJ SOCIAL WELFARE TRUST basicaly for service oriented. This trust is framed for the socially and financially backward people. Members of this trust are all broad minded and are doing more welfare to the society. It is for the society and is doing friendly and courteous service to the society.The members did more social welfare to the society as, Awarded scholarship to Meritorious students for educational purpose. Financial assistance given to poor girls for marriage and also provided Sewing machine for widows and Orphanage women. Sanctioned hospital expenses for poor & financially backward children.
