Our founder, Lala Raghubir Singh's ideal for a school was a harmonious co-operation between body, mind, and spirit, and the central principle being ‘learning by doing’. To emerge into life with confidence without being over-confident. To develop individuality without forgetting the importance of teamwork. To develop into individuals of intelligence, compassion and physical fitness. To help and support those who are in need without losing dignity or sense of compassion. To be pace-setters with pride in themselves and their county in whatever field they choose, wherever in the world they may be. To recognize that the greatest success lies in the ability to live with humility and to shun arrogance. For all this and much more, the vision of Modern school must be to dream and to bring those dreams to earth, but never to be left behind because one did not dream enough.
