PRADIP SOM is a Proprietorship Company working as a Cable TV Operator since the inception of Cable TV in West Bengal in the year 1990/1991, having its Optical Fibre and Co-axial Cable aided services in the area of Santoshpur, New Santoshpur and adjacent areas. The company has started his journey with one Movie Channel. In the mid 1991 during Gulf War the Company installed Dish Antenna to telecast live Gulf War through BBC/CNN news channel. During that time India’s first Hindi Satellite channel ZEE TV launched and the company starts showing Zee TV to his viewers from the very first day. Gradually the company starts increasing the number of channels. In the year 1995 the company, along with other local operators formed a partnership firm named SUKANTA SATELLITE SERVICE. To combat with huge establishment cost the Company join with West Bengals first Local MSO, RPG Netcom in the year 1996. After shutting down of RPG Netcom the Company join hands with Manthan Broadband in the year 2003. Thereafter shutting down of Manthan Broadband in the year 2019 the Company is now associated with SITI Cable and GTPLKCBPL.
